Gyala beach is located in Ormos tis Perani, on the southeast coast of the island. The landmark of the coast is the Church of Agios Nikolaos, which is located to the east of it. Both the coastal zone of the beach and its seabed are covered with pebbles mixed with sand. Access to the beach is by road. The beach is not organized. There are only a few metal benches, wastebaskets and tents that offer shade to the bathers. On the shore there is a restaurant from which bathers can be served.
